Learn how to make kale chips with this quick and healthy recipe.
If you’ve been reserving greens for salads and smoothies, you’ll love our new kale chips recipe. Kale chips pack the crunch of potato chips, but are dense in vitamin A, C, and K, fiber, as well as calcium — making them a true superfood and great snack option.
This kale chips recipe only requires three ingredients:
Kale
Canola spray oil (or any heart-healthy spray oil you prefer)
Sea salt
Instructions:
Gather desired amount of kale, and pull the leaves off the stems. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and then place the kale leaves on top. Spritz each leaf with cooking spray, and then sprinkle with sea salt. To create extra flavor, you can also add parmesan cheese, garlic powder, or your other favorite spices.
Place the baking sheet in the oven for 10 minutes at 375. Your kale chips are done when the edges are light brown and they appear crisp on the baking sheet. Enjoy!
